Description

The MSc Eng in Aquatic Science and Technology focuses on fisheries, aquaculture, oceanography and management of aquatic resources. The programme addresses the challenges associated with sustainable aquaculture and capture based production of fish and shellfish, small and large scale environmental change and the conservation of aquatic ecosystems.

As an MSc Eng in Aquatic Science and Technology you can choose to specialize in Aquaculture, Fisheries or Oceanography. All specializations include a common interdisciplinary basis of biology, mathematics, and physics, with an emphasis on management of aquatic resources.

Career Opportunities 

As an MSc Eng in Aquatic Science and Technology you will have cross-disciplinary qualifications for working with global issues within climate, environment and sustainability. Depending of your specialization you will be able to
  • Develop and implement innovative technology and systems for recirculating aquaculture.
  • Develop effective and selective tools for sustainable fisheries management.
  • Design economical and environmentally sustainable management and production systems.
  • Give quantitative advice about the impacts of climate change on aquatic organisms and ecosystems.
MSc Eng's in Aquatic Science and Technology may expect to be employed within four main areas: Aquaculture, Fisheries, Oceanography and Aquatic Ecosystem Management.

Tuition

Description

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet's hovedadresse ligger i Lyngby 10 kilometer nord for København, og det er primært her at DTU studerende bliver undervist. Du kan tage turen til DTU i Lyngby med bil eller ved hjælp af offentlige transportmidler. Der kører flere busser næsten lige til døren og Lyngby Station ligger 2 km. væk, men også her er der gode busforbindelser, f.eks. bus nr. 300S mod Nærum eller bus nr. 190. Begge har stoppested på Anker Engelunds Vej.
