Description

The Bachelor's programme in Language and International Studies, English combines international politics with culture and language. You work on topics such as international conflicts, human rights, peacebuilding, international conflicts, intercultural communication, and international organizations, and you will improve your English-language skills.

Career Opportunities  

Language and International Studies, English prepares you for jobs with an international orientation. Former students work everywhere from embassies and humanitarian organizations to international HR to national defense and security services. We seek to provide you skills to engage political and cultural analysis and offer high level communication capabilities for the public and private sectors.

Admission  

In order to be admitted to the Bachelor's programme in Language and International Studies, English at Aalborg University, you need the following qualifications:
  • Upper secondary school exam with a minimum GPA of 4,0 (Danish standard)
  • Danish A (exemptions may apply - for Nordic countries please read here).
  • English A or an acceptable IELTS or TOEFL or Cambridge score
  • History B or History of Ideas B or Contemporary History B
  • A second foreign language A or B (depending of numbers of years studying the language)
Please note that A, B and C refer to the course level - not grades.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
