DescriptionOn the basis of sustainability, the objective of Architectural Lighting Design is to contribute to, and enhance the aesthetic quality of our surroundings, and promote our well-being, health and ability to work.
The master programme in Architectural Lighting Design is an artistic education based on mankind, architecture and lighting technology in relation to the Nordic horizon of understanding. The programme is based on both practical and theoretical disciplines in the fields of architectural lighting, lighting design and lighting technology.

About the DegreeThis is a combined programme, in which both architect and design students work side-by-side.
Admission Applicants with a bachelor degree in design or an equivalent qualification are eligible for admission.
In addition, there is a minimum English language requirement for admission. In 2015-16 the requirements are: TOEFL (paper-based) score 575, TOEFL (internet-based) score 90, IELTS score 6.5.

TuitionThere is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
