Description

With the three-year BSc in Data Science, you will become the next generation analyst – a data scientist with comprehensive analytical and technical skills covering all aspects of handling and analysing data. The programme is taught in English.

During the programme, you will receive extenseive teaching in the technical subjects as mathematics and statistics for data sciences, programming, machine learning, algorithms development, and data management as well as in social science applications, research methods, data visualisation, communication, and critical reflection. After your first year, you will choose between two tracks:
  • The technical track
  • The business track
With a BSc in Data Science, you are qualified to apply for admission to the following of the IT University’s two-year MSc programmes:

About the Degree

To apply for admission to the BSc in Data Science, you are required to have an upper secondary education or corresponding foreign or international qualification. Specific admission requirements:
  • Mathematics corresponding to the Danish A-level with an average mark of at least 6 on the Danish 7-point marking scale of the marks included in the subject on your certificate.
  • English corresponding to the Danish B-level with an average mark of at least 6 on the Danish 7-point marking scale of the marks included in the subject on your certificate (there is no grade requirement if you have passed English corresponding the Danish A-level).
Please note: you do not need any experience with programming when applying.
