Denmark is, still, one of the safest countries in the world

It is sensible to consider the country's security, when you decide to study abroad. Studying Denmark is a safe choice, since then Danish society is ranked in top five of safest countries.

Denmark is, yet again, ranked as one the the safest countries in the world according to the newly released Global Peace Index. Denmark is the fith safest country in the world– only surpassed by Iceland, New Zealand, Portugal and Austria.

Denmark dropped one spot since last years’ ranking, where the Danish society was number four worldwide. However, being in the very top when it comes to the global state of peace is still something to be proud of.

The Global Peace Index ranks Denmark as one of the 13 countries in the safety category “Very high”. And to add some more great news, the report finds that the world overall became more peaceful for the first time in five years.

If you consider studying abroad, you should feel absolutely safe choosing to spent time in Denmark.
