The e-learning concept makes use of both on-line conference facilities and inter-active multimedia-based learning objects to facilitate individual learning. All teaching is effected over the Internet with standard browsers like Netscape and Microsoft Explorer. Obviously, some degree of self-study is necessary. The student is typically asked to obtain information through books and the Internet before discussing on-line with fellow students.
The timetable provided will indicate when and in which order the student is expected to go through the material. It is possible to go through the material more slowly or quickly than recommended, but the student will be asked to keep pace with fellow students to achieve maximum benefit from on-line discussions.
Career OpportunitiesOn successful completion of the programme, graduates are awarded an LSBU-validated BA (Honours) Degree in International Business. It can be used as a formal qualification, both in support of job applications and/or advanced study at other universities world-wide.
