The programme includes various thematic courses, some are of a “hands-on” character, such as courses in project management and advanced evaluation methods. Part of the master’s programme is dedicated to the experience of being an intern. Hence, students will have the opportunity to do an internship in a public organization, a private enterprise, or an NGO in Denmark or elsewhere in the world.
Students with a bachelor degree in one of the other Social Sciences (e.g. Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, and Law) and from the Humanities (e.g. Communication, Religion, Journalism, and History) will be evaluated and decided by the Study Board.
Students with a professional bachelor’s degree (e.g. social worker, police officer, primary school teacher) will be evaluated and decided by the Study Board.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside of EU/EAA/Switzerland.

Description
Cultural Sociology will give you a command of sociological theory and methods, as well as the opportunity to specialize in an area of research of your own specific interest. The master’s programme covers a variety of theories, themes and methods.
