Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) is one of the most critical factors in the long-term success of a business. A business with an efficient and effective supply chain may significantly reduce all of the operating expenses connected to the chain, which contributes to a greater profit. OSCM is about planning and controlling the activities of a company as well as coordination between companies, in order to secure that the right product is delivered in the right quantities, to the right customer, at the right time, and at the right price. Analytics refers to the scientific process of transforming data into insights for making better decisions. It involves functions such as sourcing, materials management, operations planning, distribution, logistics, sales, demand forecasting, order fulfillment, etc.
