Promising discovery within hydrogen based energy solutions
Scientists worldwide are making great efforts in discovering how to copy the ability of plants to produce fuel in the form of hydrogen with the help of photosynthesis. So far it has been a slow development, among other things because there has been a lack of cheap material that can be used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen.
However Danish and international scientists have now successfully replaced the expensive platinum with a much cheaper material consisting of molybdenum and sulfur that can function as a catalyst.
