DescriptionThe bachelor degree programme in Design & Business is aimed towards the fashion and lifestyle industry and you learn the theory and practice connected with it. The programme has a sustainable focus.
During the 5th semester there is an obligatory joint part, in which you receive instruction within four general areas: Design, Business, Sociology, Methods and Science Theory. Then you specialise within one of the following courses of study: Sustainable FASHION, Sustainable COMMUNICATION and Sustainable PURCHASE.
During the 6th semester you continue with your chosen course of study. The last part of the semester is reserved for the mandatory internship. During the course of study, you are in close contact with the business community, in which you, for example, develop concepts and/or products in cooperation with - or receive tasks from - a business. You will also be an intern in a business in which you can try out your competencies in practice. .
Career OpportunitiesThe programme is very much in demand in the business community and you will have good opportunities in small and medium-sized businesses, as well as large manufacturers.
Many graduates also work independently.
top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme
to a related or prespecified bachelor level. The top-up option is only
available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement
with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.
About the Degree
To be admitted into the Top-up Bachelor in Design & Business
programme you must have minimum two completed years of higher education
within the field of Fashion Design, Fashion Sourcing or Fashion
Marketing (e.g. the AP degree in Design Technology). You are welcome to

find out if your education meets the requirements. As an international
applicant you will have to take the admission test either at our
location in Denmark or via an online entrance examination.
Moreover, students from the Nordic countries and EU/EEA countries must have passed English at a level equivalent to a Danish Upper Secondary education C-level.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
