In Copenhagen architects are designing a sustainable future
The famous amusement park Tivoli shows that fun need not be at the expense of the environment in the city. It´s a message that is also very close to the heart of one of Denmark´s rising stars, architect Bjarke Ingels. "It is the mission of these young architects to to do away with the urban myth that the price of sustainablity is pleasure and comfort", says the host of CNN´s Future Cities.
Bjarke Ingels says: "Architecture is here to provide the framework for the life we want to live," says Bjarke Ingels as he showcases his ideas on architecture and sustainable design that can enhance the quality of life.
