New Danish centre to boost knowledge about our cells

The Center for Advanced Bioimaging has now been inaugurated at LIFE – the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen

The centre will have some of Denmark’s best supermicroscopes at its disposal, facilitating new knowledge about cellular functions and progress within stem cell, cancer, food quality, animal reproduction and plant biotechnology research.

“We are pleased that we can offer Danish and foreign researchers and businesses this opportunity. The centre’s state-of-the-art measuring equipment ranks along the very best in the world, and we have also made sure that the users will be thoroughly trained in how to handle the equipment”, says Head of Centre, Professor Alexander Schulz from LIFE – the Faculty of Life Sciences.
