Description

Do you want to work with nature, well-being and sustainable development as perspectives in social education? Do you want to explore and participate in the development of pedagogical practice? Then join Nature in Social Education!

Nature in Social Education focuses on how body, nature, nature experiences, outdoor surroundings and activities can support the personal development and learning processes of children and others and how this can promote interest in nature, environmental issues and sustainability.

The programme is a combination of theoretical teaching, practical training and an internship. You will also get the opportunity to apply and develop new skills involving Nature in Social Education in projects in collaboration e.g. with local partner institutions in Denmark such as after-school centers, daycare centers or cultural institutions focusing on nature and outdoor.

During the programme, you will develop capabilities in reflecting on social education theories and carrying out social education work along with implementing nature and outdoor activities in social education work.

Study start early February and late August - precise dates will be announced at least 3 months in advance.
