An international two-years Master’s programme in English which provides you with high-quality education with a strong international profile in the subjects central to the demands of today’s world, but also trains you in solving the problems posed by these demands.Here you have an active role in designing your personal academic profile, and will not only acquire but also produce knowledge in areas highly relevant to many contemporary professional settings, based on problem-based learning, which is a trademark of Aalborg University.

The programme offers three study profiles:
  • Consumption and Market Communication
  • Organisation and Leadership
  • International Politics, Migration and Movements

You may choose to specialise in one of the profiles mentioned above or follow the courses across the profiles, designing a broader academic profile in the field of Culture, Communication and Globalization. All classes are taught in English.

In addition, the programme offers the following possibilities of specialisations that will allow you to add a personal profile to your Master's degree: 

Internship or Mobility Stay

On your third semester, you can tailor your degree further by choosing an internship in Denmark or abroad. This gives you opportunity to apply the knowledge that you gained in the hands-on experience of working in an international professional environment. Alternatively, you may choose to follow one semester at another programme, at Aalborg University or elsewhere, further specialising in one or more areas relevant to the CCG Master’s Programme.

Get ready for a career at home or abroadA degree in Culture, Communication and Globalization will qualify you for jobs with focus on communicative, cultural, social and political aspects of global processes at both national and international levels, in private and public sectors, profit and non-profit organisations. Public authorities, NGOs, national and European governments, diplomatic representations, HR and PR and marketing departments, universities and research centres can become your future workplace.

Admission

Admission to the Master’s programme in Culture, Communication & Globalisation (CCG) requires a completed Bachelor's degree and eligibility is determined by the extent to which the degree documents a set minimum of subjects and methodologies relevant to CCG. All applicants applying for a Master's programme offered in English must prove that their English level is equivalent to level B (Danish level) in English.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
