The course provides you with skills for performing PCR in the lab or in an industrial setting. You will get an introduction to RNA purification theory, methods and tools. You will learn when and how to apply RNA purification and PCR and cloning methods to the engineering tasks in the vastly growing biotechnological industry in need of advanced PCR solutions. You will get insight into some of the societal use of PCR techniques as well as some of the novel developments. The course will include lectures, hands on experiments and company visits.
