About the programme

As a ensemble conductor or orchestral conductor, your principal study will be in conducting. As an ensemble conductor, you will work with string and wind ensembles and big bands, and can function as an ensemble leader in both amateur and semi-professional music. Practical ensemble conducting will form an important part of the student's education. Here the student will be able to work intensively to develop and perfect his/hers conducting technique, and be coached in artistic interpretation and implementation.
