The Innovation and Entrepreneurship program is designed to help students to identify and developed their personal and professional skills and to obtain broad understanding of how to create, manage and develop innovative business models, companies and projects.

During the first two semesters of the programme you will be working in practical and theoretical areas covering the following subjects:The compulsory subjects of the programme

  • Management and Network
  • Practical business operations
  • Growth
  • Growth Entrepreneur
Elective subjects/ThemeDuring the second semester you sharpen your profile by choosing an elective module of 15 ECTS. The following subjects are examples of elective subjects or themes:
  • Social entrepreneurship
  • Experience economy and events
  • Entrepreneurship
The third semester focuses on the internship and the final bachelor project. The Bachelor project will take the central topics of the study programme as its starting point and will normally contain elements from the internship.

Bachelor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship will make you qualified to become innovative project manager or an entrepreneur in your own business as well as within an established company. Nowadays, all organizations and business need innovative and entrepreneurial power.

About the Degree

The bachelor program mainly deals with the following topics: innovation, creativity, entrepreneurial act, market identification and consumer fit focusing on identifying new opportunities. Furthermore you will gain specific skills in project management to be able to organize and plan startup and projects to ensure progress of the identified innovative opportunities.


The Bachelor top-up programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
  • Most Danish AP Degree Programmes may qualify for admission, i.e. Marketing-, Commerce-, logistics- and Service Management, Multimedia Design, Computer Science, and a number of more Technical AP Degree majors Due to the nature of the programme.
  • An equivalent international higher education Degree within Business, Economics, IT, Multimedia or a major within a technical field/curriculum.
Besides educational qualifications each applicant’s personal qualifications are equally assessed during an admission interview where the applicant must demonstrate:
  • Entrepreneurial motivation and
  • Motivation and competences in idea generation and development
In addition, documentation may be required verifying that your proficiency in English is equal to a specific IELTS academic score.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students with a citizenship from outside of EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Campus Næstved


At Zealand, Campus Næstved you will encounter an academically rewarding as well as safe and supporting extracurricular environment for all students. The school has a strong emphasis on building Intercultural Competencies both in students and staff and mix international student activities with Danish student activities whenever possible.

Campus Næstved has a modern study environment, with stimulating academic learning and forward-looking teaching methods, and a close relationship with the surrounding business life. Many of its teachers have extensive experience from the business sector as well as their academic competencies.

Campus Næstved has an “open door”-policy towards its students in which the staff is available around the clock – almost – for talks about everything from academic goals to “how to get an appointment with a dentist”. Student life rarely ends when the class is over and international students should look forward not only to academic challenges but also the experience of living in another country. 

At this branch of Zealand, students are provided with cheap accommodation (1.750,00 DKK pr. month) during the first semester. The student hostel is located in the city of Næstved approximately 10 minutes from Campus. The Campus of course offers modern facilities to all students such as wireless internet, library and open learning areas.
