The Bachelor Programme in Value Chain Management provides you with skills and knowledge needed to manage the way businesses receive raw materials as input, add value to the raw materials through various processes and sell finished products to customers. In other words, you will learn how to analyze, improve and innovate value chains in global business environments. The aim of this programme is, thus, to provide students with tools to give them a good overview of these networks of processes. You will learn all the different perspectives of the process from buying raw materials and producing the goods to how to distribute and market them.
The programme is available at our campusses in Horsens and Aarhus C.

About the Degree

The programme in Value Chain Management is a professional bachelor's degree. Professional bachelor degrees have a curriculum in large part made up of career and practice oriented training. The programme prepares students for direct employment within professions of industry, education, commerce, health, etc. 

Professional bachelor degrees do not exclude access to subsequent degrees (e.g. a Master). In some cases a bridging programme or supplementary courses might be necessary. 


To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing, that you have passed high school/upper secondary school, with examination results.

In addition, you must provide documentation of your current English language level. VIA accepts the TOEFL test, the TOEIC test, the IELTS test or the Cambridge ESOL test.
Applicants who are native speakers or have proof of secondary school education from the UK, Australia, the USA, Canada and New Zealand are exempt from the English language admission requirements.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students from outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland. 

The tuition fees are:

  • EUR 6.000 for each of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th semester
  • EUR 1.000 for the 5th semester (internship)

Campus Horsens offers a vibrant student life in an international setting. Both Danish and international students create a very active study environment in which common areas and closely situated student accommodation will frame your life. 
Campus Horsens offers a number of programmes taught in English primarily within the fields of architecture, engineering, marketing, management and business. In Danish, Campus Horsens additionally offers programmes in nursing and social education.
