Blended*:   the course is offered both online and on campus. If physical presence is not possible, the  course will still run online.

Description:
  • Mathematical modelling of known dynamic systems (described by differential or difference equations and delay)
  • Mathematical modelling unknown dynamic systems (system identification)
  • Determining the response of a dynamic system subjected to different stimuli using mathematical modelling and simulations
  • Validating mathematical models and simulation data
  • Develop mathematical models for known dynamic systems (described by differential or difference equations and delay)
  • Develop mathematical models for unknown dynamic systems (system identification)
  • Use the mathematical models for performing simulation of the system response when the system is applied in different contexts
Mandatory prerequisites: The course is intended for students with a educational background in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or similar. It is recommended that the student have basic knowledge about mathematics, electronics and transfer functions in time and frequency.

Admission/Tuition: NOTE: Exchange students from a partner university pay no tuition. Guest students pay tuition fees. Please read more: https://www.sdu.dk/en/Uddannelse/SDU_summer_school/Fees
