Do you want to work in graphic design and marketing?

The Academy Profession Degree Programme in Design, Technology and Business is your chance to build on your creative talents and develop your graphic expertise while gaining an insight into the entire process from idea to finished product. The programme combines practical work using graphic design software and aesthetic understanding of design processes and gives insight intoall the necessary steps - from early ideas to final production. You will gain knowledge and skills in strategic thinking and production processes for print and digital media. The first six months of the prgogramme cover design, technology and business. After this you will continue on the graphics specialisation. 


The programme consist of three main elements:

- The practical part. You will gain skills in graphic design programs:
• Illustrator
• Photoshop
• InDesign

- The creative/aesthetical part. You will gain competences in the design process:
• From idea to finished product

- The organizational part. You will gain relevant business knowledge about:
• Businesses
• Commerce
• Communication


The programme equips you to independently plan and carry out processes and tasks in business areas concerning graphic design and communication. For this reason, your job opportunities with an AP degree in Design, Technology and Business (Graphics) are waiting for you within:
  • Editorial and advertising
  • Graphic design

  • Web-companies


The programme consists of 4 semesters worth a total of 120 ECTS credits under the European Credit Transfer System.

1st semester:
• Design 
process, value philosophy, aesthetics
• Business
• Technology

2nd semester:
• Design process, visual communication, trend and sociology

3rd semester:
• Design and branding
• Entrepreneurship 
• Graphic Merchandising 

4th semester:
• The three month internship in Denmark or abroad
• Final AP degree project
