More and more companies operate internationally, and there is an increasing demand for competent employees with an insight into the global export market. With the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Export and Technology Management, you will be well-prepared for the future. The programme has a strong international focus and includes technical as well as mercantile subjects. Our primary focus is where businesses and customers meet. You will become a specialist in the sale and service of technical products and solutions. You will learn to prepare sales and marketing plans targeted at different customer groups in the global market. Furthermore, you will gain an insight into different types of businesses, production planning, cultural differences and entrepreneurship. 


As a Bachelor of Export and Technology Management, you may find employment in Danish and international companies. Examples of job titles could be export consultant, logistics consultant, product consultant or procurement officer. In the long term, you can also work towards becoming an export manager, product manager or procurement manager.


During the course of your education you will be introduced to the following disciplines:
  • Technology: Product development, production processes, materials, construction, design and project management 
  • Sales: Industrial export, marketing, foreign trade, shipping / transportation and innovation 
  • Communication: Foreign languages, cultural understanding and negotiation techniques
Each semester has its disciplinary focus:

Semester 1: The business foundation of a company
Semester 2: Market understanding
Semester 3: Planning a market strategy 
Semester 4: Market and client relations
Semester 5: The selling organisation
Semester 6: Internship
Semester 7: Specialisation and bachelor project

Furthermore, each semester has a specific industry focus such as the iron and metal industry, the plastic industry, the IT and electronics industry and the timber and furniture industry.

During your internship you will be able to test your theoretical skills in practice.

During semester 7 you will have the opportunity to specialise within one or more of the subjects you have been introduced to over the first 5 semesters or during your internship. On this semester you will also write your bachelor project.
