Computer games, film and web applications are becoming an increasingly integrated part of the public media discourse as well as an important business domain for media firms while traditional media firms and manufacturing firms have been exposed to an increased pressure.

If you dream about a position as a top manager within the media industry, the specialization in Media Management is a unique opportunity. Focus is on the managing and leading of media firms and on how these firms can cope with future challenges.

Students who complete the Master's Degree will be able to analyse and solve the problems relevant for today's media firms/industries through application of systematic research and development  processes.

Central themes in the programme are:
  • Media convergence and technological development – new challenges, new opportunities
  • Globalization of media firms
  • Running media firms in tomorrow’s complex media landscape
