With an MSc in Operations and Innovation Management – Global Management, you will be able to handle the challenges of the increasing globalisation that most companies are facing at present.

Off-shoring and outsourcing of different activities within the company’s value chain are creating a completely new managerial agenda. The study programme Operations and Innovation Management will give you the expertise needed to analyse, understand and solve the challenges associated with the disintegration and globalisation of the company’s value chain.

The study programme addresses the globalisation challenges from an innovation perspective by addressing the problems and opportunities in developing innovative global business models and systems. The programme gives you a balanced analytical, systemic and managerial understanding of the management and development of a global value chain as well as its underpinning disciplines.

Each semester at the MSc in Operations and Innovation Management – Global Management has an overall theme which is echoed in the courses and the project reports, with the intention that the courses and project reports support each other.

Career Opportunities  

More than 200 students have graduated from Operations and Innovation Management. They have found careers as managers, specialists and consultants in a wide range of different organizations. Examples of companies where the graduates work are Novo Nordisk, Carlsberg, Vestas, Ferrosan, Danske Bank, TopDanmark, Accenture, PA Consulting, IBM, Coloplast, Siemens and F.L. Smith.

About the Degree

The programme is offered as both a Master of Science in Engineering and as a Master og Science in Technology programme for applicants with non-engineering Bachelor degrees.
With a Bsc in Engineering you will typically achieve the title Master of Science in Engineering. If you hold another qualifiying education than a Bsc in Engineering, you will obtain the title Master of Science in Technology.

As there are only a limited number of student places available as of September '14. Applicants for both programmes will assessed individually based on relevance of Bachelor degree and grade point average of the BA at the time of application.September 1, the Master of Science in Engineering programme will admit 35 students, and the Master of Science in Technology will admit 18 students.

Documentation will be required to verify that your proficiency in English is at an acceptable level.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
