Description

Aalborg University’s master’s programme in Communication Technology has two specialisations;
  • Radio Communication
  • Networks and Distributed Systems
The content of your studies will of course depend on your choice of specialisation, however, both specialisations will provide you with a solid profile in engineering.

Industry has a great demand for graduates with academic profiles in communication systems. Aalborg University cooperates with a number of companies and organisations who willingly establish sponsor programmes for students and invite students to carry out their semester projects with them. The M.Sc. in Communication Technology is designed to educate the kind of profiles much sought after in industry.

Career Opportunities  

The master's programme in Communication Technology covers various topics which qualifies you for a wide range of jobs in top companies all over the world. In today’s networked world, communication technology plays an essential role. We are all quite familiar with personal mobile communication devices, but wireless communication can enhance the functionality of about any everyday product, from passive wireless systems for product identification to networked and autonomous wireless systems on small or large scale.

Your role will be to help develop new communication solutions for wireless connectivity, plan wireless systems or devise procedures for their operation, and possibly assist with specialist knowledge on integration of wireless connectivity for new applications and products. Like many of our previous candidates you will have opportunities with large international companies who seek the expertise that this education gives you, work with start up R&D initiatives- or pursue an academic research career. Your future job title will largely depend on your choice of specialisation,

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students outside EU, EAA, or from Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
