Would you like to develop physical models and methods for molecular biological studies?

At the master’s programme Molecular Biology + Physics, you will study cell biology and physiology, molecular genetics, biochemistry, genetic and protein engineering and bio-informatics. You will work with mechanics, relativity theory, astrophysics, condensed matter physics, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics and statistical mechanics.

The programme qualifies you to analyse, formulate and discuss problems in molecular biology and physics and present testable hypotheses based on scientific evidence. You will acquire skills in selecting, implementing and evaluating experimental studies or simulations. You will be qualified to develop, apply and evaluate qualitative and/or quantitative models in the subjects.

You finish the programme by writing an interdisciplinary master thesis and you have the possibility to write it as an experimental 60 ECTS master thesis during 3. and 4. semester.
