Would you like to work with mathematical models for molecular biological studies?

At the master programme Molecular Biology + Mathematics, you will study cell biology and physiology, molecular genetics, biochemistry, genetic and protein engineering and bio-informatics. You will work with geometry, probability calculations and statistics, the fundamental structures of mathematics, as well as selected examples of advanced topics in the field of advanced mathematics.

The programme will qualify you to analyse, formulate and discuss problems in molecular biology and mathematics and present testable hypotheses based on scientific evidence. You will acquire skills in selecting, implementing and evaluating experimental studies or simulations. You can contribute with key molecular biological and mathematical knowledge to collaboration projects of an interdisciplinary nature. You finish the programme by writing an interdisciplinary master thesis.
