Is working with digital media your passion? Do you want to create the websites, apps and multimedia solutions for the future?


As a graduate of Multimedia Design you can single-handedly design, plan, implement and manage multimedia solutions. You will be able to create digital user interfaces, primarily for the web, based on user research; understand how digitization affects companies and users; create rich and user-friendly interfaces and encode and program various functionalities.
The study programme covers four core areas of study: business; communication and presentation; interaction development; and design and visualisation.
You will learn how to bridge your technical, problem-solving and creative skills through management of development processes. With an AP degree in Multimedia Design & Communication, you have various possibilities to pursue further academic studies.
You can choose to extend your studies by 1.5 years with a top-up degree at UCN, earning a Professional Bachelor's Degree (PBA) in Web Development or Digital Concept Development.


As a graduate of Multimedia Design, you may find work in the field of IT and media as well as the graphics industry. The programme enables you to independently plan and carry out processes and tasks in multimedia productions, from strategy and target analysis, planning of information architecture through design of digital user interfaces to the programming of the end result published on the internet. Career options include professions as:

• Interface design and digital design
• Digital business models
• International development trends in design, media use and technology
• User experience (UX) and user-centered methods
• User research and user testing
• Project management and development management
• Understanding and applying digital data
• Dynamic web solutions and frameworks
• Frontend coding and programming

Semester 4:
• Internship in Denmark or abroad
• Final AP project
