Do you want to excel at state-of-the-art automation and robotics? Are you enthusiastic about developing the automation solutions of the future to make factories run more efficiently? 


As an AP graduate in Automation Engineering, you will be able to create safe and innovative solutions for companies by developing and optimising their technical systems and automated facilities.
You will be in charge of practical work, including installing, programming, commissioning, optimising and operating automatic systems in technical production and manufacturing environments.
The study programme will give you broad knowledge of the implementation and optimisation of various technical control systems and automated industrial facilities.


As an AP graduate in Automation Engineering, you can work in both private and public companies, e.g. utility companies and industrial companies that manufacture and/or operate e.g. wind turbines, pumps, robotic welding machines or flexible manufacturing systems (FMS).


The programme is divided into four sub-elements.

Institutional curriculum covers the following subjects:

  • Configuration and programming
  • Communications technology and project development

Joint national curriculum covers the following subjects:
  • Design and construction of automated devices
  • Integration of automated devices
  • Systems design of automated process and production lines

  • Knowledge technology
  • Wireless technologies
