Description

The Global Business Engineering programme will provide you with the knowledge needed to design and implement technical solutions while also learning how to sell and market products and services across the world.
The programme aims to reflect the real world, and the individual courses are linked to multidisciplinary projects where you work in teams.
The programme consists of approximately two thirds of engineering subjects and one third of business and language subjects. For the engineering subjects, you can choose to focus on Software Technology Engineering or on Mechanical Engineering and for languages you can choose between French, German, Spanish and Danish as your second language.

The programme is available at our campusses in Horsens and Aarhus C.

Career Opportunities  

You will get a global mindset and become excellently qualified to act as the connection between technical specialists and management in job positions as e.g. project manager, global business developer, sales engineer, etc.

Admission  

To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing, that you have passed Upper Secondary School or the International and the European Baccalaureates.

The certificates must provide evidence of Mathematics equivalent to a Danish B-level and German, French or Spanish equivalent to a Danish C-level. If you are a non-Danish speaking international student, you may choose Danish as your second language instead. Find more information here.

In addition, documentation may be required verifying that your proficiency in English is at a specified level. If English is not your first language, you need to provide documentation of your current English language level. As documentation of your English language skills, VIA accepts the TOEFL test, the TOEIC test, the IELTS test or the Cambridge ESOL test. Read more about the language requirements at VIA.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students from outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland. 

The tuition fees are:
  • EUR 7.500 for each of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th semesters
  • EUR 1.000 for the 8th semester (internship)
Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Description

Campus Horsens offers a vibrant student life in an international setting. Both Danish and international students create a very active study environment in which common areas and closely situated student accommodation will frame your life. 
Campus Horsens offers a number of programmes taught in English primarily within the fields of architecture, engineering, marketing, management and business. In Danish, Campus Horsens additionally offers programmes in nursing and social education.
With all of these programmes offered in both languages, it is only natural that a large number of students come from other countries than Denmark. At Campus Horsens, approximately half of the students are international, either exchange students or full degree students.
