International Communication and Multimedia is a communications programme with focus on international conditions.
The programme consists of three core subject areas:
- Communication and English, where you train your oral and written skills with courses such as Language Proficiency, Culture, Business Communication, and International Communication
- Media Production, where you learn about the development of digital communication and marketing strategies. You will work with, among others, the development of websites, digital pictures and animation.
- Marketing and Project Management, where you learn about marketing models and theories and learn to prepare and complete projects from idea development to the implementation phase. You will have courses such as Marketing, International Business, and Project Management and Innovation.
In addition to the three core areas, there is also a number of general subjects to take, for example, Theory of Science, International Business Environment and a selection of electives.
In the fifth semester, there is included a study trip abroad.
Teaching varies between project work in groups, lectures and class instruction. A part of the lessons will take place in cooperation with local businesses.
Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
If you choose to complete the bachelor's degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title of Bachelor of Arts (BA).
Entry Requirements
The general admission requirements for international students include one of the following international certificates: the Danish/French Baccalauréat (DFB), the European Baccalaureate (EB), the International Baccalaureate (IB), the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB) or another foreign qualifying examination certificate that can be equated with a Danish upper secondary school leaving certificate.
In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Admission
The application deadline is March 15 for a course start in September. Admission is handled through The Danish Coordinated Application System. You can apply via optagelse.dk .
Exchange students should contact their home institution for information on application procedures and deadlines.
Tuition
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students, unless you are a student from a Nordic or EU country, or from Liechtenstein.
Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

An academic year is made up of two semesters, which begin around September 1.
