The progamme introduces you to public health nutrition and food policy as well as lifestyle coaching and fitness management, including the connection between nutrition and lifestyle. You learn to use communication tools and teaching and coaching methods. You will also obtain management skills and learn how to promote issues of nutrition, health and consumer behaviour or lifestyle changes.
After a year, you will choose one of these specialisations:
- Publich Health Nutrition and Food Policy which focuses on the connection between nutrition, public policy and health on a local and global level. You learn, for example, about the conditions for and effects of different national and international health strategies and political health policies. These policies can be in relation to, for example, public smoking or obesity problems in the population.
- Lifestyle Coaching and Fitness Management which focuses on the connection between nutrition, physical activity and health from a lifestyle perspective. You learn, for example, about lifestyle determinants and counselling methods for lifestyle changes, and methods for physical activity and training.
Teaching varies between lectures, class instruction, seminars, exercises, clinical studies, and as project work in groups. During your studies, you must also complete an internship in a company or organisation.

Global Bachelor in Nutrition and Health can be studied as a:
- 3½-year bachelor degree programme (210 ECTS)
You also have the possibility to take single courses or subjects within the programme.
If you choose to complete the bachelor degree programme, you will graduate with the academic title Global Bachelor in Nutrition and Health.

Entry Requirements
The general admission requirements for international students include one of the following international certificates: the Danish/French Baccalauréat (DFB), the European Baccalaureate (EB), the International Baccalaureate (IB), the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB) or another foreign qualifying examination certificate that can be equated with a Danish upper secondary school leaving certificate.
In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Admission
The application deadline is March 15 for a course start in September. Admission is handled through The Danish Coordinated Application System. You can apply via optagelse.dk .
A few educational institutions offer a course start in February, where applications are sent directly to the institution. Contact the educational institution for detailed information on application deadlines.
Exchange students should contact their home institution for information on application procedures and deadlines.
Tuition
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students, unless you are a student from a Nordic or EU country, or from Liechtenstein.
Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Semester Start
An academic year is made up of two semesters, which begin around September 1.
