Environmental and Resource Management is about solving environmental problems. You will study the interaction and the conflicts between the environment, nature and the society. And you will learn to solve these conflicts by economical, political and technical means.
You will work on projects covering everything from idea, analysis, solution and implementation.
The programme includes social science as well as technical courses.
You will be able to choose courses such as

- Environment and Development
- Corporate Social Responsibility: Strategy and Practice
- Global Health
- Bio-refinery design
Teaching varies between lectures, classroom instruction and project work together with other students. Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
The final 6 months will be spent writing your MSc thesis. The thesis is a scientific research project, often carried out in collaboration with one of university's industrial partners.
Environmental and Resource Management can be studied as a:

Graduation from the master degree programme confers the title Master of Science (MSc).

Environmental and Resource Management is a joint programme of the University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet) and the University of Aalborg (Aalborg Universitet). To be admitted to an MSc programme, you must have a bachelor degree in a relevant subject. In addition, documentation may be required verifying your proficiency in English is at a specified level.
