Biology-Biotechnology
The Biology-Biotechnology programme deals with how you use plant cells, animal cells and microorganisms in, for example, production of foods, pest control or making biological treatment systems for environmental use.
Biosystems Engineering
This programme combines biology and technology. You specialise in either automation or environmental technology.
Biotechnology
Biotechnology deals with the production of products with the help of living organisms, for example, yeast in beer production or the baking of bread. In biotechnology, you use gene-spliced organisms to, for example, produce medicines.

Environmental Management
The Master of Science Programme in Environmental Management at Aalborg University is directed at science and engineering students who are interested in topics related to sustainability and environmental management. The programme is designed to meet these new challenges, by integrating inputs from the social and human sciences into the study of planning and engineering. Pharmaceutical Sciences
The programme focuses on the various phases of the drug development process. You will learn about pharmaceuticals from the discovery and development of new active substances to their effect and use in patients.
