Fredericia School of Marine Engineering

Fredericia School of Marine Engineering is one of the oldest Marine Engineering School in Denmark. It is situated in the city Fredericia which is presently one of Denmark's largest traffic hubs.

The current Fredericia School of Maritime Engineering hails all the way back to 1911, where it was originally established in the town of Horsens. The school moved to Fredericia due the promise of more space, better lab facilities and a much improved geographical placement.

Today the school has become an important asset in the area and in the education of young marine engineers. The present school hosts approximately 300 enrolled students and boasts spacious modern environments, labs and tool shops.

Teaching is individualized giving the students the opportunity of choosing a field of specialization from an early onset. Due to a close proximity to centers of industry, the school has a long and fruitful cooperation with big industries such as DONG, Danish Crown or Carlsberg, which is of huge benefit for students in fascilitating internships and work experience.

As of yet the school has no programmes in English.
