Summer schools in Denmark 2012

Attend a Danish summer school with other students from around the world
International students have a host of opportunities to attend summer schools in English at Danish higher education institutions. The programmes give you an opportunity to increase your skills and knowledge inside and outside of your usual area of study and a chance to work with Danish and international students. If you are considering studying in Denmark, a summer school is a great introduction. Below is a short sample of some of the options international students can be apart of in 2012.

AU Summer University 2012

In 2012 Aarhus University offers a comprehensive summer university programme based on experiences from previous years. AU Summer University consists of a wide range of courses within the fields of fields e.g. Business, Economics, Political Science, Law, Psychology, Communication, Theology, Media, Culture, Health, Bio Science, Geo Science, Food Science and Mathematics. You can find courses at Bachelor, Master and PhD level.

University of Copenhagen  - Department of Economics 2012

The Department of Economics offers unique summer courses during the months of June, July and August. Danish as well as international students (e.g. guest and exchange students) from anywhere in the world can attend. Applications opening in April 2012.

Aarhus University School of Engineering

Every year in July and August, Aarhus University School of Engineering organises a number of international summer schools in close cooperation with industrial companies and other Danish institutions. Students from across the world travel to Denmark to explore a specific area of expertise and gain insight into the latest knowledge in the field. The application deadline is 1 May 2012.

Aalborg University

The Summer School at Aalborg University is a unique option for undergraduate students interested in Information and Communication Technology. The Summerschool Courses are offered from the 30th of July to 17th of August. During the Summer School at Aalborg University you will attend lectures by internationally recognized researchers and apply the theories and methods in real world problems.After a hard day of study you will be invited to join our memorable social program. Local guides will show you secret sides of Aalborg and challenge you to taste local specialties.

VIA Summer School (Horsens)

VIA Summer School is a great opportunity for all students to get new knowledge and friends from all over the world. At Campus Horsens, you can attend courses relevant for your career and at the same time enjoy the summer holidays with excursions, parties and sports. The course programmes will run in July and August 2012 with courses spanning from ICT Engineering to Global Business and Management.
