Amongst other things, you will learn to analyse a company's ideas, targets and strategies, to analyse operational issues and to work with market research.

This is a 2 year AP programme and is made up of mandatory courses and electives, one or more internships and a final project.

In the programme, you work with new technology and learn to design, plan and create, for example, websites. You also learn to control and administer a multimedia production.

The programme in Multimedia Design and Communication takes 2 years and contains a compulsory part and an elective part. In the compulsory part, you go through courses in the following subject areas:

  • Communication and Dissemination

In the course of the programme, you will learn to comprehend organisational structures and processes in connection with multimedia development.

You will work across disciplines with, among other things, communication and dissemination theories, construction of websites, graphic design, audio/video and 3D animation, aesthetics, marketing, journalism, IT systems and data communication.

In the elective part, you must specialise in one of the four subject areas.

In your final examination project, you solve a concrete problem for a company in connection with a placement in that company.

About the Programme

The programme takes 2 years and is based on relevant business practices and theories. It is made up of a common compulsory part and a specialisation part.

The specialisation track allows you to choose among three areas: service management, tourism or hotel and restaurant management. You choose your specialisation area when you start the programme.

The compulsory part of the curriculum is made up of six subject areas:

  • Methodology and society, which includes Methodology, Business and Social Descriptions, Ethics and Sustainability
  • The service enterprise, which includes Business Administration, Service Theories, Trade Knowledge and Law
  • Organisation, which includes Organisation principles, Management and personnel development, Work environment and Project management
  • Planning, which includes Strategic Planning, Quality, Marketing and Innovation
  • Communications, which includes English plus another language, Cultural Understanding and Customer Relations
  • Technology, which includes Internal and External IT and Communications Systems

You receive a fundamental academic knowledge in the service professions, their organisation, interest areas, economic structure and business conditions.

In the period between the first and second study year, is an internship for 13 weeks. The internship takes place in a company in Denmark or abroad within your chosen specialisation area, for example in a hotel, a tourism enterprise or a service enterprise.

To complete the programme, you must write an individual thesis, which relates to your chosen specialisation.

Web development is a top-up programme that takes 1½ years. It consists of six core subjects and three electives.

The six core subjects can be chosen from:

  • Backend and frontend programming
  • Databases and XML

  • Interface design and digital aesthetics
  • Advanced media technologies

The three electives are:
