The module concerns human knowledge, values, culture and perceptions of life. The core subjects are Nursing, Philosophy, religion and ethics as well as theory of science and research methodology.

In all subjects the theory will be applied on clinical nursing and the challenges nurses can meet in their daily practice. 

A major focus will be the project, where the students will explore a clinical relevant issue. The students will gain experience with all phases and aspects of performing an investigation using academic methods, and writing a report about the study. 

Emphasis will also be on human life perceptions and cultural religious backgrounds in relation to the nursing profession. 

Career Opportunities  

Attention will be on existential, spiritual and ethical issues nurses will face in the care of patients.The students will gain insight in the Danish well fare system through both theoretical and clinical studies.

About the Degree

The module concerns human knowledge, values, culture and perceptions of life. The module also focuses on Nursing research and a project, where the students will use basic academic methods to investigate problems and issues within the academic field of clinical nursing.The module involves both theory and clinical practice. This programme is also offered as an exchange programme.
