ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Professional Bachelor's Degree programme in Sport Management is a top-up programme for graduates of the AP Degree Programmes in Marketing Management; Service, Hospitality and Tourism Management; and Financial Management. The programme is also intended for persons with a relevant background from the industry.
As a graduate of Sport Management you will have a thorough understanding of the commercial mechanisms in the sport, event and leisure industry. The programme covers the following subjects: academic method and research in sports, sport marketing, sport management, sport law and sport economics.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
After graduation, you will be able to find employment in the various organisations in the sport, event and leisure industry, where you might work as project manager, administrator, marketing coordinator, consultant or event maker etc. Your job titles could be e.g.:

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Semesters 1 to 2: Lectures, project work, tutoring, case studies, compulsory assignments in a thematic structure, visits to organisations in the industry.

  • Sport marketing - consumer behaviour - sponsorships and fundraising
  • Sport management - strategy - organisation and human resource management
  • Sport economics - sport as a product - sport finance
  • Scientific methods and research in sports
  • Sport law - sport contracts and risk management - legislation

Semester 3: Internship in Denmark or abroad and a final PBA project
