The MSc programme in Engineering Management is for students who wish to combine a BSc in engineering with competences in planning, innovation and management (engineering management). The programme is intended for students who want to employ engineering management skills to expand their interdisciplinary work.

Graduates from the programme are qualified to use their engineering background in planning, project and change management, innovative process organization, production-system optimization and sustainable development. In an ever more complex and globalized world, these competences are crucial to industrial manufacturers, service providers, and knowledge-intensive businesses that supply practical technical solutions.

Career Opportunities 

Engineering Management MSc graduates typically find jobs as project managers, external consultants, developers or change agents in private or public-sector enterprises or organizations. They will usually work in technology departments, operations, knowledge management, consultancy or systems-planning as it relates to the engineering field in which they earned their BSc. They may also work in interdisciplinary functions, e.g. health and safety, security and environment.

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet's hovedadresse ligger i Lyngby 10 kilometer nord for København, og det er primært her at DTU studerende bliver undervist. Du kan tage turen til DTU i Lyngby med bil eller ved hjælp af offentlige transportmidler. Der kører flere busser næsten lige til døren og Lyngby Station ligger 2 km. væk, men også her er der gode busforbindelser, f.eks. bus nr. 300S mod Nærum eller bus nr. 190. Begge har stoppested på Anker Engelunds Vej.
