Description

This MSc gives you an understanding of modern food production and extensive knowledge of technologies associated with the production of healthy and safe food.

Meeting the challenges related to global market requirements, changing consumer demands, sustainability, social responsibility, and competitiveness requires knowledge in a wide range of areas. The programme provides you with the profound analytical, design, and development skills required to meet these challenges.

Food technology at the Technical University of Denmark is a cross-disciplinary education involving a number of different departments and includes components of microbiology, biochemistry, physics, and engineering, thus enhancing both the general and specific skills that you will acquire.

The Food Technology programme qualifies you for employment in food companies and related industries involved in food production, quality, and safety, as well as equipment manufacturing. Description

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet's hovedadresse ligger i Lyngby 10 kilometer nord for København, og det er primært her at DTU studerende bliver undervist. Du kan tage turen til DTU i Lyngby med bil eller ved hjælp af offentlige transportmidler. Der kører flere busser næsten lige til døren og Lyngby Station ligger 2 km. væk, men også her er der gode busforbindelser, f.eks. bus nr. 300S mod Nærum eller bus nr. 190. Begge har stoppested på Anker Engelunds Vej.
