Description

This programme focuses on equipping students with the competencies required for carrying out engineering tasks with emphasis on design, which is why courses span both technical-scientific and social science disciplines.

The programme aims to develop your creative skills and abilities to analyse the interaction between the user, technology, and company. You will gain knowledge of one or more technical domains and learn to develop concepts and implement innovation processes that are more far-reaching than product and system development. 

Career Opportunities 

Career opportunities in fields of innovation as well as design and product development. You can also work as a designer, constructor, system developer, or as a product or development engineer in an industrial company.

Examples of possible jobs are:
  • Product developer, design engineer or systems developer in an industrial enterprise
  • Product developer in design consultancy
  • Employee in the public management and administration of technology utilization
  • Innovation manager
  • Development manager with responsibility for product or process development
  • Management consultant
  • Freelance or independent innovator or product developer
  • Entrepreneur establishing his/her own product or service business

Description

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet's hovedadresse ligger i Lyngby 10 kilometer nord for København, og det er primært her at DTU studerende bliver undervist. Du kan tage turen til DTU i Lyngby med bil eller ved hjælp af offentlige transportmidler. Der kører flere busser næsten lige til døren og Lyngby Station ligger 2 km. væk, men også her er der gode busforbindelser, f.eks. bus nr. 300S mod Nærum eller bus nr. 190. Begge har stoppested på Anker Engelunds Vej.
