Description

This programme is concerned with concepts and methods for improving business decision-making by the use of fact-based support systems.  

Organisations use business intelligence to improve decision-making, to cut costs, to identify new business opportunities, and to pinpoint inefficient business processes that are ripe for re-engineering. The Business Intelligence programme provides students with in-depth knowledge of methods of data analysis to support decision-making and to improve business processes on the basis of business analytics.

Career Opportunities  

    The typical first job for a graduate with an MSc in Business Intelligence involves specific analyses of organisational performance for decision support. Relevant positions might include consultant, quality manager, market analyst, data miner, process manager or PhD student.
