Social Marketing 2018

Economics, commerce, management and accountingThe course will enable you to:
- Effectively apply a range of social and environmental marketing principles that promote positive social change amongst community members, business and government sectors
- Identity factors that affect behaviors related to social causes
- Conduct research to understand barriers, facilitators, and decision making process
- Design creative social marketing campaign and evaluate its effectiveness Teaching method will include lectures, case study, projects and presentations. We shall use two cases, one on “Promoting healthy eating among children and adolescents’, and one on “discussing with your family members about organ donation”. The course will be taught over two weeks. The course is concluded with a written exam paper to be handed in one week after the course has ended.
