Survey research is a popular and indispensable tool of empirical research in the social sciences.  This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the practice of survey research, with a focus on applications in economics, business, public administration, and public policy. 
Students will learn what survey research is, how it applies to their fields of practice, when to apply survey research, and how to design and implement it. Students who will benefit from this course include those who want to broaden their skills in quantitative research methods, and those who will apply surveying to their own academic research or professional practice.  This may include students throughout the School of Business and Social Sciences.
