Description

Do you enjoy working with mechanics and technology? Do you want to design, develop and realise new products and production systems? And would you like to participate in the strengthening of a company’s competitiveness? Then the Master’s programme in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Manufacturing Technology may be the right education for you.

The programme aims at providing the students in-depth knowledge within:
  • Process Modelling
  • Simulation
  • Production Modelling and Monitoring
  • Production Planning and Control
  • Intelligent Manufacturing
  • Engineering Optimisation
  • Product Development and Modelling
The programme focuses on design, development and implementation of products, manufacturing and control systems; primarily in relation to development, planning and implementation of industrial production. Graduates have the opportunity to specialize within specific areas; e.g. virtual product- and process development, material- and process technology and operation and robot technology.

The specialisation is carried out through the project work focused on putting theory into practice. You will do your project work in cooperation with a company; a great opportunity to try out your ideas and knowledge in a real life-situation-

Admission  

Admission to the Master's programme in Manufacturing Technology requires a Bachelor of science in engineering. 

In addition, documentation will be required to verify that your proficiency in English is at an acceptable level.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
