Description

Today’s global environment demands interdisciplinary knowledge of politics, history, culture and language. Understandings of methods in political science, history, sociology, cultural analysis, intercultural communications and quality English are essential to many public and private sector jobs.

Language and International Studies, English (LISE) prepares you to be an informed, ethical actor in relation to ranges of issues in international politics and culture. LISE prepares you to continue your education in a range of MA degrees – from degrees focusing on international culture and communications to degrees focusing on development, international relations and regional studies.

Career Opportunities  

The bachelor's degree in Language and International Studies, English primarily prepares students to continue to an MA degree in ranges of fields from international politics to international cultural relations and communications. 

Students will primarily work within international aid or humanitarian organizations, international peace and conflict resolution or in the private sector in relation to communications, policy analysis or intercultural consultancy. 

Admission  

To be admitted to this programme, you must possess an upper secondary school exam and qualifications comparable to those taught at a Danish upper secondary school level B in either History, History of Ideas or Contemporary History and level A in English.

Required is also a second foreign language proficiency comparable to that taught at a Danish upper secondary school level A or B (depending on the number of years studying the language)

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
