Description

Information and communication technologies such as Internet, mobile communication and advanced e-services are evolving rapidly and are increasingly influencing our lives. Innovative Communication Technology and Entrepreneurship is a two-year Master's programme that teaches you about these developments, lets you understand what is happening "behind the scene", and teaches you about how new technologies can help to address user needs and create new business opportunities. 

On the 1st and 2nd semester, you will acquire a deep understanding of platforms, technologies, services and applications, building on competences from your Bachelor’s degree. You will get in-depth with technology during the courses that also cover entrepreneurship as well as market and business aspects. 
On the 3rd and 4th semester, you will choose one of two specialisations focusing either on wireless technologies or eHealth and you will continue with courses and projects units within the specific areas and technologies of these specialisations.You will learn
  • About various elements of telecommunications and sensors;
  • About entrepreneurship and business development;
  • How to find the right market for given products and
  • To solve complex problems from real-life challenges
The programme has strong focus on project- and problem-based learning.

About the Degree

The Master´s Degree in Innovative Communication Technologies and Entrepreneurship is available at Aalborg University's campus in Copenhagen and in Aalborg.

Students are required to have a Bachelor degree in a relevant subject such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Please make sure you send your application form and further documentation via post to the International Office by the required deadline.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland.
