As a Bachelor student of IT, Communication and New Media (ITCOM), you will learn how to develop technical solutions with both a user and market perspective. You will learn about technologies for the future Internet and develop new applications for smartphones and other new media platforms.

The education is interdisciplinary, providing advanced technical understanding of software and network technologies combined with understanding of users, creativity, economic theory, organisational theory and management.

You will learn about the social, commercial and ethical frameworks for technology use, and you will become abreast of the latest developments in a global perspective.

The programme includes courses and project themes such as:
  • Object-oriented Programming
  • Network and Application Security
  • Inernet of Things
  • Application Development and Security
  • Use of IT and Communications Technology within Enterprises and Organisations

Career Opportunities  

The Bachelor's degree acts as the basis for the postgraduate engineering programme in Innovative Communication Technologies and Entrepreneurship (ICTE).

With a Bachelor´s degree in ITCOM or a master's in ICTE, you are qualified for a job within the IT-, telecom- and media sector, training and research institutions, public administration and engineering consulting firms. You will be able to use your skills for development of new concepts, services and solutions, and you can act as a link between development and sales & marketing functions.


To be admitted to this programme, you must possess exams comparable to the Danish upper secondary school level A in Mathematics and level B in Physics.

Requirements also include that you speak and write on a level equal to Danish upper secondary school level B
