Description

The course is based on state-of-the-art knowledge and technology, combining the scientific research and accumulated knowledge with teaching and guidance from a large number of associated experts and researchers from the industry. As a world-leading university in wind-energy technology, The Technical University of Denmark has been engaged in wind energy research and education since the 1970s and has offered a dedicated MSc programme in wind power since 2002.

The MSc in Wind Energy is offered with a specialization in either mechanical or electrical engineering. Several activities and courses are common for the two specializations, and are coordinated with common elective courses. Thus, it is possible to obtain a cross- disciplinary knowledge of a wide range of wind power technologies.

The aim of the MSc in Wind Energy is to give you a general understanding of wind energy systems and an in-depth knowledge of aerodynamics, aero-elasticity, mechanics, grid connection and power systems that qualifies you to analyse, design, develop and operate wind energy systems.

Description

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet's hovedadresse ligger i Lyngby 10 kilometer nord for København, og det er primært her at DTU studerende bliver undervist. Du kan tage turen til DTU i Lyngby med bil eller ved hjælp af offentlige transportmidler. Der kører flere busser næsten lige til døren og Lyngby Station ligger 2 km. væk, men også her er der gode busforbindelser, f.eks. bus nr. 300S mod Nærum eller bus nr. 190. Begge har stoppested på Anker Engelunds Vej.
