Description

As an engineer specialized in Architectural Engineering, you will probably be involved in the early stages of the building planning process, where all the important decisions are taken. Your contribution to future innovative and optimized construction becomes, through overview and creativity, optimized solutions, done in close collaboration with other construction specialists, for example builders, architects, engineers and producers. 

Subjects teached at a high professional level, like e.g. planning, user behavior, urban construction, energy, structures, installations, indoor air quality, fire safety, acoustics and building information modelling will be combined with solid project design courses, in which you have the opportunity, through engineering design processes that contribute to do coherent projects at different scales.

Career Opportunities 

Architectural Engineering graduates are employed by e.g. architects, consulting engineers, contractors, researchers, building component manufactures, authorities, municipalities, and as independent consultants. The field of activity ranges from preliminary identification of design parameters and indication of design solutions over participation and planning of a design process, communication, documentation, presentation, realization, and operation of projects for buildings or building products.

Description

Danmarks Tekniske Universitet's hovedadresse ligger i Lyngby 10 kilometer nord for København, og det er primært her at DTU studerende bliver undervist. Du kan tage turen til DTU i Lyngby med bil eller ved hjælp af offentlige transportmidler. Der kører flere busser næsten lige til døren og Lyngby Station ligger 2 km. væk, men også her er der gode busforbindelser, f.eks. bus nr. 300S mod Nærum eller bus nr. 190. Begge har stoppested på Anker Engelunds Vej.
